Following the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini opened doors for various education disciplines and new horizens.

Before the victory of the revolution, the seminary students only focused all their attentions on relgious studies, while Imam encouraged students to remain fully aware of political, social and cultural affairs.

Imam advised the preachers to equip themselves with today’s sciences along with religious studies and keep them constantly aware of what was happening at home and abroad.

Many talented people each year register at seminaries across Iran to become acquainted with the sciences and religious disciplines. The coordination between the universities and seminaries was also enhanced since the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979.
