According to the Quran, when sometimes things become so difficult that even the divine prophets become despaired; then God's help arrives, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini explained.
This may be about nature of some prophets, but not in the Commander of the Martyrs (AS); it is hope and pride. Our story is also "trust and optimism in God." In the words of our great martyred leader, the Imam's greatest asset was this "optimism in God."
Referring to a narration by Abu Saeed Abu al-Khair in the book "Secrets of Monotheism," Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said: "If a person has one asset in life, it is to be optimistic about his God.
The goodness of "patience" and its root is optimism about God. If someone is not optimistic, he will reach disappointment.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini concluded by saying that “when dangers arise, the people with great patience rely on God the Almighty in those moments.”
