A poem by prominent Persian poet Shahryar

You remain like a cypress tree that, if its head is cut off, will adorn and beautify heads.
And if you become a sovereign, will observe and decorate the rituals of sovereign and master
You seem like an immortal painter who decorates the world with a painting, and to the eternal painter who adorned the world with his engravings.
You have kept decorating the lawns with flowers, cypresses, and poplars
Not every site or place where the caravan travels knows the secrets of leadership
You are Ruhollah (the Spirit of God Almighty), who has the power to bring forth leaders.
Why should I fear the infidel army with this passion for martyrdom?
Whenever you know that you bring forth armies,
It is the same blade or sword of holy struggle and the sermons of the historic Kufa Mosque.
That you are the one who paint decorate the altars and pulpits.
In the eyes and hearts of all the light of your beauty
In every day you bring meaning and scenery
You had been mentioned in Hadith as the sun from the West
You passed through the lands and countries to bring beauty to those lands

If the East shines with a bright sun, you are that bright sun which adorns the earth, where sweet fragrance adorn your black robe, and you adorn the black robe with soft perfumes.
