Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Ali Komsari said that in our time, when moral and humanitarian crises have engulfed the face of societies, rereading the moral thoughts of Imam Khomeini is doubly necessary and very vital.
Imam Khomeini, as one of the most influential thinkers and leaders of the 20th century, presented a moral system based on monotheism, justice, and human self-improvement, which extends not only to the individual level but also to the political and social arenas, the scholar added.
Referring to the challenges facing the world today in the field of ethics, justice, and human identity, the head of the Institute for the compilation and publication of Imam Khomeini's works pointed out that the speed of progress, technology, cultural changes, and political competition have caused human values to be marginalized in many societies.
In such an environment, Imam Khomeini's thought, as a model of the connection between ethics and politics, can be a spiritual and humane response to contemporary crises, Dr. Komsari further stated.
