In this meeting with Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, al-Hakim pointed to the solidarity and sympathy of all Sunni and Shia Muslims with Iran during the recent 12-day Israeli aggression.“Muslims support any country that defends itself against and fights the Zionist entity, due to their hatred against vicious Israeli entity.”
"The recent war contributed to unifying ranks within Iran and removed the long-standing accusation against the Islamic Republic regarding sectarianism across the Muslim world," he added:
Elsewhere in his remarks, al-Hakim explained that Iran quickly recovered from the shock of the Zionist attack, and dealt a powerful blow to this entity's defenses, surprising it with its missile capabilities.
The Iraqi leader noted that "the Zionist entity, after its defeat in these areas, is currently seeking to incite chaos within Iran."
Al-Hakim concluded by saying that the countries of the region now realize that weakening Iran in the face of the Zionist entity will harm the entire region.
