It has been recalled through memoirs that few years befor Imam lauch a struggle for the Islamic revolution, Shah regime disagreed the policy of the seminaries on a series of issues.
Imam said that if Ayatollah Broujerdi, the head of the religious seminaries, had allowed him to mobilize the mass public support for him he could make life for the Shah regime tough.
Imam struggle for change dates back to several decades before the final victory of the Islamic Revolution under his leadership in 1979, when he used to strongly criticize Shah regime’s policies and its submission to western policies.
Imam’s struggle with massive support of general public led to the collapse of Shah and replaced by an Islamic-democratic system, which changed the balance of power in favor of Muslims across the region and elsewhere.
