Zahra Mostafavi, the Imam's daughter, narrates that after the revolution, the first grandchild of the Imam who got married was my own daughter.
Imam had directed that the wedding ceremony shouldn’t be held in luxurious way but in a simple manner.
Family members asked me that why enough shopping and preparations had not been done for the event. The first necessary items were even not purchased on the eve of the ceremony.
At this I replied that Imam had guided that all should be done in a simple way.
Imam himself said that he wanted simplicity but had not prevented from buying necessary and basic items of dowry such as mirror.
