Israeli regime approves hundresds of new settler units in East al-Quds

The project is also part of a major drive by the Tel Aviv regime to build more settlements on the occupied lands.

 Israel has approved the construction of more than 210 new settler units in the occupied Palestinian territories

Israeli authorities approved on Wednesday the construction of the new structures in the East Jerusalem al-Quds neighborhoods of Pisgat Ze'ev and Ramat Shlomo.

The project is considered flagrant disregard of widespread international condemnation.

Over 230 Israeli settlements have been built since the 1967 occupation of the Palestinian territories.

The international community views the Israeli settlements as illegal under the Geneva Conventions, which forbid construction on occupied territory.

Tel Aviv regime has accelerated its land grab and settlement construction activities in the occupied Palestinian lands in recent years. 

It is worthy to mention that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, though his historic speeches and messages exposed the crimes being committed by the Israeli regime against Palestinians. Imam also time and agin warned about the expansionist agenda being pursued by the Israeli regime in the strategic region.
