The 28th annual Islamic Unity Conference brought together hundreds of religious thinkers and scholars from around the globe to discuss ways to promote unity and solidarity in the Islamic world.
In the second day of this international conference the participants made presence at Imam Khomeini's Holy Shrine at the southern part of Iranian capital Tehran to pay tribute to the great founder of Islamic Republic and celebrate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The participants were also hailed at the mausoleum by Hujjat ul-Islam Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, Imam's grandson, who delivered a speech on the significance of unity and solidarity for all Muslims as always emphasized by the great leader of Muslim world.
