Fo’aad al-Razim has been in Israeli prisons for thirty years, until recently when he was freed. He visited the International Imam Khomeini University of Gazvin, and talked of the Imam’s role in making the struggles of Palestinians a global issue. Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calendar, when Muslims commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (as), the grandson of the Prophet Mohammad (saw) and the third Imam and leader of the Shi'a.
