Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the United States' sanctions have made Iran self-sufficient as he calls for unity in the new Iranian year which began Friday morning.

Leader designated new Iranian calendar year of 1398 as the year of "Pick-up in Production."

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has offered congratulations to Iranians on the occasion of Nowruz, and called on the government and the nation to boost production in the country.
