The text of Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini’s message reads as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

I extend my congratulations to the great Iranian nation, the sporting community, the wrestlers, the coaching staff, and those responsible for wrestling in the country on the Iranian national Greco-Roman wrestling team’s honorable victory at the World Championships held in Kazakhstan.

This remarkable and early victory reflects the exceptional capabilities of Iranian youth on the global stage and is a source of pride and honor for the Iranian people.

The significant achievements of Iranian youth in science, technology, sports, and other fields, despite the difficult and challenging circumstances prevailing today, send a powerful message to the world about Iran’s strength and demonstrate that no spiteful adversary or aggressor can weaken the will of the Iranian people.

I wish the heroic young people of our homeland continued success and achievement in all fields and sporting disciplines.

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini
