The International Affairs Department of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works organized two specialized exhibitions alongside the ceremony marking the renewal of the foreign guests’ allegiance to the ideals of the Founder of the Islamic Revolution, held as part of the 40th Islamic Unity Conference.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a book and cultural products exhibition featuring publications and cultural materials of the Institute was held at the Holy Shrine of Imam Khomeini. A photo-text exhibition, focusing on Imam Khomeini’s statements concerning the “Necessity of Preserving Islamic Unity,” was also organized at the shrine.
Given the composition of the conference’s participants, most of whom came from Arab and African countries, the exhibitions placed particular emphasis on presenting the Institute’s French- and Arabic-language publications. This provided visitors from these linguistic communities with direct and effective access to the content produced by the Institute.
The photo-text exhibition on Imam Khomeini’s statements regarding the “Necessity of Preserving Islamic Unity” featured short and impactful excerpts from the testament and speeches of the architect of Islamic unity. It highlighted his central message concerning the need for greater convergence among the Muslim world and the “unity of Muslims in the face of global arrogance.”
The photo-text displays installed in the conference hall not only served a visual purpose but also functioned as a means of conveying ideas, presenting Imam Khomeini’s profound political and ideological concepts in a simple and accessible language for international audiences.
It is worth noting that the two cultural programs were warmly received by the foreign guests and helped connect the spiritual and visual atmosphere of the conference with the ideological and discursive message of Imam Khomeini.
