Seyyed Hassan Khomeini further said that Larijani services as former parliament speaker and his role as the head of national security council will remain in the memory of the nation.
In the early hours of March 17, 2026, the Secretariat of the National Security Council of Iran issued a statement announcing the martyrdom of Larijani in an attack conducted by the US and Israeli terrorists.
Since February 28, Iran has been engaging in a war of aggression started by the US and Israeli terrorist regimes.
