The Iran Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), Al-Hoda International Publications, and Al-Mustafa International University are representing Iran at the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) with their latest publications.
A selection of books on Persian literature, art, history, philosophy and Iranian lifestyles in three languages of Persian, English and Chinese have been put on display in Iran’s pavilion at the fair, which opened yesterday, Al-Hoda announced in a press release, Tehran Times reported.
An English version of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, Ferdowsi’s epic masterpiece Shahnameh, Habib Ahmadzadeh's “Chess with the Resurrection Machine”, books on the thoughts of Imam Khomeini, the founder of Islamic Republic, as well as books by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, were among the displayed books.
Books on Iran’s constitutional law, women’s rights in Islam and the ethics of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are also available in Chinese.
The Chinese organizers have also arranged meetings with Noble laureates and the award-winning international writers during the fair. The 22nd Beijing International Book Fair was held from August 26 to 30, 2015.
