The Imam behaved very respectfully with his wife. Until today, we that are his children never noticed the Imam show the smallest disrespect or ill temper towards his lady. Till now we never saw him order our mother around for the least thing or even ask her to bring him a cup of tea. If he did indeed want a cup of tea he would structure his sentence in this manner and say indirectly: “The lady is requested to order to bring me a cup of tea.”
